Where are all the High Voltage Cable Splicers?

This is very rare to find a good high voltage cable splicer. My name is Marc Belanger, and I have been splicing and installing cable now for 11.5 years. I am a Foreman for a large outfit in CT. I have not yet found a good cable splicer that can handle any type of splicing that does a really good, neat , and correct job every time. If there is a real cable splicer that can generally complete all of these types of splices, and complete them within the time I am showing or less without any problem you can have a job.. That is if you are not a medical liability, or can not physically perform work because you can't be near live circuits. No exception. Accidents take lives and jobs.....

First off, ten years experience minimum. Holds an IBEW union ticket, and can work in CT. Class B cdl minimum. Can work 10 hour days 5 days a week without whining on Friday or any other weekday that you need to leave early. Strict time related material for jobs, so know how is a must...I really push the safety issue. Nobody slacks off there.

Qualifications:

1)Holds an electrical license.

2)Can splice raychem trifurcating transition joints in less than 4 hours.

3)Can complete hand wrapped splices and hand wrapped Tee Splices with no question.
(up to 25kV)

4)Can build 600 amp elbows (hammerheads) in less than 45 minutes each.

5)Can build 200 amp elbows. In 20 minutes each.

6)Can sweat a split connector correctly.

7)Knows the proper safety procedures on how to legally protect a manhole for a workers safe entry. Also knows and is certified for confined space entry.

8) Can successfully splice 2 sets of Pirelli or Prysmian splices on aerial cable in an 8 hour day.

9)Can tell me in writing the correct way to clean an Okonite cable.

10) Will have no problem shaping 30 kV Kerite 1000MCM cable in a Substation Switchgear . 6 Terminations per day.
